The Town and Country Planning General Development Order 1963

In 1963 we saw a new version of the GDO produced. This version replaced the 1959 version, but also the 1950 version and the three amendments in between.

This order applied to the whole of England and Wales.

The Town and Country Planning General Development Order 1963

SI 1963/709 was laid before Parliament on 8th April 1963 and came into operation on 1st May 1963.
